Health Strategy – A Workshop and Tools for Developing a Health Strategy

Healthy companies attract new employees. Employees who are healthy are more productive and generate greater returns for the company—we often refer to this as “health ROI.” Nine out of ten companies invest in various health initiatives—but only half have a health strategy. This means that companies don’t know to what extent their investment has paid off—or if it has paid off at all. Successful companies must have a health strategy. With a health strategy, you get:

  • Taking stock of the situation. How is your business doing? A strategy begins with an analysis of the current situation.
  • Prerequisites for establishing goals, measurability, and a clear direction in health initiatives.
  • Replaces random wellness activities with a strategic, evidence-based, and sustainable approach to health.
  • Employees who are healthy are more productive and generate greater returns for the company. Health ROI and a health strategy can become a business strategy.
  • Establish more targeted health programs once the strategy has been finalized and gained support.

Successful health programs include social, mental, and physical motivational components for the group that needs them most.

Target audience: management team, health ambassadors
Duration: 2–3 hours
